A Posto Personal Chef Services LLC offers a One-on-One Instruction Service as a way for you to increase your individual culinary skills within the private setting of your own kitchen. This service is similar to our Cooking Classes but taught in private sessions with one of our personal chefs. Some of our home chef clients prefer this approach as a way to make better use of their time by not having to travel to a public place for cooking lessons.
Our One-on-One Instruction can focus on teaching basic cooking skills and techniques or can be expanded to focus on more advanced topics like learning local seafood preparation, or how to make homemade pasta or artisanal pizza, or the techniques of creating an awesome salad. Our program delivers culinary training based on your schedule and allows for developing a personal relationship with our company’s chefs who reside here on the Oregon Coast.
With the seasonal aspects of our local ingredients, you can elect to use this service on a more regular basis. We can share with you the food ingredients that are coming into season and how you can take advantage of their nutritional value while at their peak flavor. We can assist you in planning a holiday party or a special occasion celebration. Having the support of a personal chef can provide you with the confidence to make your event a tremendous success.
Also, this service is ideal for people supporting the needs of a special diet. Our personalized training can focus on preparing healthy foods that compliment the requirements of the special diet and still can be enjoyed by the whole family. In other cases, you may desire to learn a new international or ethnic cuisine using our extensive recipe library supported by our on-site chef instruction. And for those aspiring in-home cooks or newlyweds, you can use this service to hire our personal chefs to analyze and recommend changes to your current kitchen and pantry set-ups.
One-on-One Instruction: 1 to 3 hours of individual chef instruction delivered in your home kitchen that teaches you a recipe, basic cooking skills or other culinary techniques, local food and wine information, or how to organize your kitchen or pantry for better use. The recipes used include the written food preparation details and any background information on the topic. Summary Pricing for One-on-One Instruction Services:
$35.00 per hour plus groceries and pantry items for short-term training.
A customized program and pricing can be developed for long-term training.
Our proposal will cover professional chef service fees involved plus an estimate of any special grocery expenses, pantry fees and/or container fees. Any alcohol including wine and beer are to be purchased separately by the client unless previous arrangements are made in advance.
