Family Reunions - Group Events Overview

A Posto Personal Chef Services LLC offers personal chef and catering services for people holding a family reunion or a group event here on the Oregon Coast. Our chef services are designed to support the following activities:

Family reunion gatherings held at a private residence or a public venue
A small dinner party with family and/or friends with tableside or buffet-style service formats
A group event such as a retreat or a corporate event where the participants dine on professionally prepared foods in a private setting
Preparation and storage of meals for the hosts and or guests to be enjoyed on as needed basis

We are best suited for intimate events and smaller gatherings of two to about fifty people. For larger events that require the provision of china and silverware, tables/chairs, linens, entertainment services or even a reception venue, we recommend using a full-service caterer.

Our personal chef and catering services are designed to be flexible. We develop customized menus that meet our client’s budget, dietary requirements, and desired timeframe using the highest quality ingredients available.

Additionally, we can design theme-based menus such as Pacific Northwest, Italian, or any other ethnic cuisine. Our cooking classes can be integrated into the event activities to offer a unique way to celebrate. Lastly, we can work with local purveyors of wine and spirits to develop beverage pairings to match your menu choices.

All food preparation must be completed in a kitchen that is located either in the client’s home, vacation rental, event location, or within a certified commercial kitchen. Our chefs will determine the appropriate kitchen upon booking the event.

Our personal chef services can be very valuable in removing the often overlooked task of preparing meals during the family reunion when things can be very hectic and chaotic for everyone. We can prepare fresh and frozen foods to be consumed during that time that are healthy and delicious. We handle all the details of menu planning, grocery shopping, food preparation and storage, and kitchen clean up. We can prepare menu entrees for just the hosts, or visiting family members and guests as well.

If you or your guests are renting a vacation home, we can grocery shop and prepare meals ahead in anticipation of the arrival day. You and your guests will find the refrigerator full of healthy and delicious food to be reheated and enjoyed when you are ready. This service can be a real time saver for those traveling to the Oregon Coast who are unfamiliar with the local grocery stores in the area.
